1978年夏天看完《星球大战》后，广志被深深地打动了，并受到启发要拍摄自己的电影。他和他的朋友一起制作手工特效，让他自己的科幻故事梦想成真。根据年轻时的经历，小中和哉给特摄电影制作写了一封迷人的情书。。1970年，为强迫军队听其发表的劝说军人恢复日本昔日荣誉和“纯洁”的讲话，日本右翼作家三岛由纪夫将真下将军扣留为人质。但他的讲话却遭到军人们的嘲笑，愤怒的三岛由纪夫回到屋中后剖腹自杀。影片以四个部分展现了三岛由纪夫的生平：（1）对真理和美女的看法；（2）艺术观点；（3）军事方面的活动；（4）剑和笔的统一。。The Richardson family celebrates their 28-year-old daughter's pregnancy in Northern California.
