Comedy about the proverbial genie who comes out of a bottle (a table lamp in this instance) to serve his new master. The only problem is that instead of helping his master, the genie (Burl Ives) tends to get his master (Tony Randall) into more predicaments than he gets him out of.。孤儿沈白栀靠自身努力拥有丰富的学识和才能，与叶家大少恋爱，并在叶家大少出差期间管理公司。但却遇到无能高管、谄媚员工的各种刁难，被同是孤儿的女反派冒充了总裁夫人的身份。沈白栀在期间，输出自己的武力值，不停给反派打脸，并最后获得了叶家的认可。。
