故事從創造兩個量子人工智能Kuro 和 Shiro開始：柯博士打造出兩名量子Al黑子與白子，是為了讓他們陪伴博士的漸凍人兒子一起成長。在歷經了Q18的五個單元故事之後，黑子白子逐漸學會了人性，並演化出意識與感情。他們也透過連結量子電腦與人腦，幫助漸凍症少年擄獲了愛情與友誼。 但就在這美好的烏托邦來臨時，博士卻認為科技已經失控，決定親手毁滅掉黑子與白子⋯⋯。Because he can pass as a Russian, A.J. Fothergill is recruited to spy on the revolutionary movement in Russia in 1913. He becomes imprisoned in Siberia, as a revolutionary, until the 1917 uprisings. Amid the turmoil of the civil war between the red and white armies, he tries to flee Russia along with the beautiful Countess Alexandra.。
