专偷皮鞋的女扒手Tina发现自己出人意料地被释放后，拜访了预审法官的公寓。法官Carole Rewinsky 并没有告诉Tina她的假释只是出于程序上的错误。她们发现除了司法系统以外他们还有许多共同兴趣，比如说对鞋的共同兴趣。Carole允许Tina在她家的沙发椅上留宿……。The film is based loosely around events in December 1995 that culminated in the murders of three drug dealers in Rettendon, Essex, UK.
