该剧主要讲述18岁落魄贵女冉颜（周洁琼饰）为了查明母亲自杀真相，从小开始学习验尸绝学，成人后巧遇刑部侍郎萧颂（李程彬饰）和绝命杀手苏伏（裴子添饰）和天才书生桑辰（蓝博饰），解开一个又一个杀人情案，在探求真相的过程中遇到真爱的故事。。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
