该剧讲述了杨家三兄弟分属国共两个阵营，在对日作战中经历了寻找毒气弹、袭击敌占区、救出盟军顾问、实施盾牌行动等事件，最终大哥牺牲，二哥投敌后被击毙，老三加入八路军接替大哥当上了真正的司令的故事。。该电影讲述了侠女颜如玉（杨瑾洁饰）为铲除奸佞，与书生宋绍、锦衣卫江枫扬联手阻止大太监刘崇篡位夺权的故事。颜如玉在面对“大义”与“私怨”时苦苦挣扎，展现人性脆弱的一面也刻画了一个有弱点有人情的江湖人。呈现出江湖儿女的快意恩仇以及家国情怀，抒发了“为国为民侠之大者”的武侠情怀。Edwin Antony (Hywel Bennett) is emasculated in an accident which kills a young philanderer. Doctors successfully replace his member with that of the dead man, but refuse to tell him the full story of the organ's origin.
