根据同名漫画改编，讲述武道做什么事情都不顺，又住在破旧老公寓里，从电视上得知国中时期的前女友—日向，无端卷入帮派火拼而身亡。某天他在月台等车，居然跌落铁轨，正当他以为自己死定了，回神之后却发现自己回到12年前的国中时期。后来又遇上了日向的弟弟—直人，告诉他12年后发生的事实，要求他要保护姐姐，双方握手之后他又再次回到现代。。Jake对自己将进入初三而深感不安，Charlie和Alan跟他说了他们各自如梦魇般的初三生活，这让事情变得更糟。那些故事对Jake产生了很大的负面影响，以至于在上学的第一天他就从校车上下来，逃回家躲起来。最终，Charlie和 Alan意识到他们告诉Jake的那些故事是他们自己的担忧，而却把这些担忧传递给Jake 。他们俩决定教会Jake如何应对自己的恐惧，但是事情却没有像他们计划的那般。。At Christine's funeral, her foster son suddenly shows up, a grown-up man with whom the family has been out of contact for quite some time.
